Authorized Users: this will indicate any restrictions on who may use the resource
Fair Use Clause Indicator: indicates if the license explicitly acknowledges fair use of the resources
Digitally Copy: indicates if a "reasonable" amount of the resource may be downloaded. Note that this permission never includes authority to use any type of automated downloading or harvesting software
Print Copy: indicates if a "reasonable" amount of the resource may be printed.
Scholarly Sharing: indicates if faculty and students may share individual copies of articles with a colleague at another institution.
ILL Electronic (email): indicates if Rowan may loan the item to another library utilizing email
ILL Print or Fax: indicates if Rowan may loan the item to another library utilizing print copies or fax
ILL Secure Electronic: indicates if Rowan may loan the item to another library utilizing the current secure interlibrary loan software technology
Course Reserve: indicates if permission is given to use the content for course reserve readings
Electronic Link: indicates if permission is given to build secure links to the content
Course Pack Electronic: indicates if permission is given to use the content in electronic coursepacks
Course Pack Print: indicates if permission is given to use the content in print coursepacks
Remote Access: indicates if permission is given to provide off-campus access to the content. This is usually paired with a statement indicating any limitations as to who may have remote access.
To view the library license for a resource, search for the resource within the E-Journals or E-books tab. Once you have searched for the resources, click View Terms of Use next to the resources.
