EndNote 21, the latest version of EndNote, only works with a new version of the online or cloud based version of EndNote called EndNote 21 Web.
Older versions of EndNote, such as EndNote 20, are NOT compatible with EndNote 21 Web and must continue to use the older versions of the web based EndNote Online Classic.
