Perform your search in the selected Ovid database. Check the checkbox located next to each reference to select it for saving, printing, email, or export. Once you have all the references from your Ovid search selected click the Export button located above the 1st reference.
A pop-up window appears asking you where you want to export the references to. Select EndNote from the drop down menu.
Select the appropriate fields to export, or use the default setting. Click Export Citations(s) when you are ready to export the references to EndNote.
Each of the major Internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox) works differently when exporting. In most cases if prompted to save or open references you will want to open the references to import them into EndNote.
You will be prompted to send the the selected references to either EndNote or EndNote Online, Select EndNote.
References will be exported to the open EndNote Library, and placed in the temporary Imported References group.
