Development

Development - encompasses the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, hormonal, behavioral, sexual, gender, emotional, and social changes that occur throughout a person's lifespan

Many factors can impact the development and expression of sexuality.

Endocrinology

Endocrinology is the study of hormones.  Hormones influence or control a wide range of physiological activities including growth, development, and puberty.

Puberty

The period of sexual maturation when a child's body undergoes significant changes, transforming them into a sexually mature adult.
