What is Covidence?

Covidence is a web-based tool designed to help you throughout your systematic review. Covidence was designed with systematic reviews in mind, but those conducting scoping, integrative or other comprehensive reviews may find it useful. 

Use Covidence to:

  • streamline the screening process
  • increase the ease of collaborating with your review team
  • extract and store your data
  • reduce the amount of time spent working on your review

FAQs

Who can use Covidence?

Access to Covidence is restricted to CMSRU or Cooper University Hospital students, faculty, and staff who use the CMSRU Library Evidence Synthesis Service. The CMSRU Library will help you set up your account as part of our service.

I am collaborating on a review with colleagues from other institutions. Can I invite them to use Covidence for this review?

Yes! You can invite anyone to join your review in Covidence, regardless of location or affiliation.

Where can I find support for using Covidence?

Covidence maintains a large support database, including helpful videos, on their website. You can also email cmsrulibrarian@rowan.edu with questions.
