Brain & Behavior block for 1st year students

Course Goals

The Brain and Behavior Block is a combination of neuroscience, neurology, psychiatry, neuromuscular medicine, pain management, and addiction medicine. It will provide students with a broad-based education in these areas. Content will cycle through head and neck anatomy, the normal structure and function of the neurological system to pathology, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. This block also incorporates the evaluation, management, and treatment of neurological and mental illnesses and encompasses the comprehensive services of disease prevention, early detection, and health promotion.
