SGL I - Rheumatology & Dermatology: Welcome

E-books, study aids, quality web resources to help students with the SGL Rheumatology and Dermatology course

Block Description

Welcome to the Rheumatology & Dermatology portion of your learning!

According to the syllabus, this block provides students with a broad-based education about immune-mediated and infectious diseases involving the skin, joints, and musculoskeletal system.

This is a continuation and extension of information learned during Integrated Musculoskeletal Anatomy and Biomedical Foundations.

In this block, students will learn how to apply their knowledge in these areas to the prevention, diagnosis, management, and treatment of disease as it pertains to dermatologic and rheumatologic and conditions.

Additionally, this block serves as an introduction to medical problem solving in the form of case-based learning and a presentation on systems review as it pertains to patient history.
