Endocrinology is the study of hormones. Hormones influence or control a wide range of physiological activities such as growth, development, puberty, appetite, and bone growth. An endocrinologist is a specialist who treats diseases related to problems with hormones and the endocrine system including the pituitary, thyroid, and adrenal glands.
The human Reproductive System is the organ system by which humans reproduce and bear live offspring. For this biological process to be carried out, certain internal and external organs and structures are required to work together in both the male and the female. The male reproductive system produces and delivers sperm to the female reproductive system. The female reproductive system produces egg cells, protects and nourishes the fetus until birth, and produces sex hormones that regulate the menstrual cycle.
