Required and Recommended Books - Second Year PBL Curriculum: Recommended Supplementary E-Books

PBL curriculum blocks/courses generally do not require the use of specific textbooks.  Unless otherwise indicated books listed below are recommended by PBL facilitators and Rowan-Virtua SOM Librarians for use in the PBL curriculum.  Many of the books listed are required or recommended for use in the SGL curriculum.  Print copies of many of these books are in the reserve collection located behind the Rowan-Virtua SOM Library's service desk.

If a book is available online through the Rowan University Libraries a link to the e-book’s entry in Library Search is provided. 

Use Library Search to search for books and journals held by Rowan University Libraries.  Search the Medical E-Book Collection for medical e-books only.
