Rowan-Virtua SOM’s GME and Faculty Development offices work together to provide access to TeachingPhysician, an innovative web resource. The website offers over 180 pages of content, including quick tips, answers to frequently asked questions, curated links to in-depth information, video demonstrations, and audio interviews. Just in Time Teaching App

The Just in Time Teaching (JiTT) tools app from Northwell Health aids in the advancement of medical education knowledge and teaching skills of students, trainees, and faculty. JiTT infographics are adaptable to an array of clinical specialties and include foundational teaching principles in areas such as setting expectations, questioning techniques, feedback and coaching, and bedside teaching.

    • The Clinician Educator Milestones provide a developmental trajectory of knowledge, skills, and behaviors (performance descriptors) for each defined competency (Administration; Educational Theory and Practice; Well-Being; and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion)

Letters of Recommendation

AACOM CORP - Resources for Writing Letters of Recommendation 
The Council on Residency Placement has recently completed an FAQ, checklist, and video detailing how to create a successful letter of recommendation. Faculty, preceptors, and students can all benefit from reviewing these new resources.
