Finally, the researcher will seek to disseminate the results of their study. Regardless of the method of dissemination, this will include the research questions or hypotheses, the research design, the sample, the data collection methods, the data analysis methods, and the results. The report will also include a discussion of the implications of the findings and recommendations for future research.

Here are some steps to consider as you determine where you will share your results.

  • Review the publication requirements of journals that are appropriate for your work. Journals publish different types of articles and all have their own unique requirements for how work needs to be presented.
  • Consider multiple venues (Articles, Poster presentations, Conference presentations). Disseminating your results via multiple venues enables you to reach the widest audience and strengthen your research portfolio.
  • Utilize Social Media. Social media draws attention to your work and also creates avenues for potential collaboration.
  • Update repositories
