EndNote at Rowan University: Creating and Logging in to EndNote Online

Guide to Using EndNote for students, faculty, and staff at Rowan University

New EndNote 21 Web

EndNote 21, the latest version of EndNote, only works with a new version of the online or cloud based version of EndNote called EndNote 21 Web. 

  • Older versions of EndNote, such as EndNote 20, are NOT compatible with EndNote 21 Web and must continue to use the older versions of the web based EndNote Online.
  • This section of the guide only pertains to the old version EndNote Online and will be revised at a later date.

Creating An Account

1.    Go to the online version of EndNote located at https://www.myendnoteweb.com/

2.    Click the link that says “Register” near the bottom of the screen.  Follow the prompts to create an account.

Logging Into EndNote

1.  Go to the EndNote online verstion located at https://www.myendnoteweb.com

2.  Click on the link for EndNote near the top of the screen.

3.  Enter your email address and password. Occasionally, you will need to click on EndNote again.
