Osteopathic Oath for Health Equity

The Osteopathic Oath is the only medical profession oath to dictate that it is the job of a healthcare practitioner to care about and focus on the welfare of their community and demand that it should impact the way that they practice.

I will be ever vigilant in aiding in the general welfare of the community, sustaining its laws and institutions, not engaging in those practices which will in any way bring shame or discredit upon myself or my profession.
