  • Thank you! - 2025 Faculty Development Needs Assessment
    • Thank you all for your input. Your responses will help improve Rowan-Virtua SOM's faculty development program and meet our accreditors' needs. Completions: Paid Faculty - 68/~200; Volunteer Affiliate Faculty - 74.
  • 2025 Run4Rowan
    • From announcement: From 2021 through 2024 the RowanSOM, then Rowan-Virtua SOM Team, has won awards for the highest number of race registrants. As a runner and a first-generation student, I’m excited about the upcoming Run for Rowan 5k (onsite or virtual). I’ve created a Rowan-Virtua SOM Team on the registration website and hope you will join me. Please note that our team consists of runners, joggers, walkers, strollers, etc. - All are welcome.
        Teams are managed by a fundraising campaign on the RunSignUp page. Please see below for more information from the Rowan Alumni Association. Please note that you need to indicate a Fundraising Goal when joining the Team but will not be responsible for any monies not raised.

  • An Introduction to the NIH Fellowship Program for Prospective Candidates (NIH)

    • From announcement: "This virtual event will cover: NIH fellowship opportunities, Key application components,  The peer review process,  and Tips for preparing a competitive application. With recent updates to the application and review process, now is an excellent time to explore these programs. Sponsors no longer need prior NIH support or extensive mentoring experience, opening the door for more researchers to participate. This webinar is ideal for prospective candidates, sponsoring PIs, and university administrators new to NIH fellowships."

    • From announcement: "Funding is available for DOs, MDs, PhDs, and osteopathic medical students conducting studies that address the tenets of osteopathic medicine and explore the profession’s patient-centered, empathic approach to care. Key Grant Updates: Project Duration: 24 months (extended from 18 months); Student Project Duration: 12 months; Project Start Date: July 1st (revised from September 1st); Broadened Focus Areas: We have expanded our focus areas to support more projects; Translational Research: We are accepting translational research projects."
